Having first watched Kreider in his college and US junior team days, he always excelled when playing on the same line on a consistent basis, with a center who knew how to use K's strength and speed. Worked great with Stepan and even better with Mika. Neither AV nor Quinn would just leave him there…always moving him around…then came Gallant.
