This is so fucking funny. love what Steve Dangle said on his podcast a few days ago about Calgary. Something like, statistics say they’re super unlucky, having lost so many one goal games. But that’s not what the eye test says.

It’s wonderful. Anybody with sense knows it was a bad luck season here in Columbus. Now we’ll be adding a potential face of the franchise level player to a core that already includes Gaudreau, Laine, Jenner, Johnson, Marchenko, Sillinger, Werenski, Jiricek, Mateychuk, Svozil, and Ceulemans while Calgary continues to pick in the mid-teens and gives $7M to an aging Kadri for the next 6 years.

Anyone else remember when everyone was acting like Treliving was GM of the year last summer? Interesting to see what those acquisitions have done for the Flames this season.
