I’m sure the kid is thrilled enough just by this gesture, but I hope they also find a way to get him a couple of tickets to game 1 or 2

That’s awesome. It’s that time of the year that I get stoked to hard bandwagon Leafs and get ready to be let down.

    Let’s go!

Remember when Suzuki gave that kid a stick in the Scotiabank arena and the Toronto maple leafs kicked the kid out of the game?

Cute, but that kid has parents who had to know it was unlikely those players would be in the lineup right?

Not familiar with how it works in the USA so sorry if it sounds dumb but… why go to Tampa from Toronto when you’re literally living in the city of guys you want to see? Are tickets impossible to have due to high demand or what?

That’s a great gesture by the Leafs and he got a stick. I’d say that’s very much worth it.

He traveled all the way to Tampa, and I can guarantee you that the tickets to Florida and to the Bolts game combined were cheaper than seeing a game in Toronto.

Surprised Tampa didn’t ban the kid from the premises

On one hand the historical 2nd season cup run would be a thing of Beauty. On the other Flyers would no longer have the distinction of “fastest expansion team to lift the cup”.

You can’t hate that, that’s pretty cool for the kid.

    Leafs making a good gesture?
