  1. Avs fans there really brought it tonight… kudos to them.
Avs lone goal was pretty flukey… Both Oilers goals were absolute SNIPES!!
Skinner playing like a 10 year vet and not like a rookie at all.
Oilers depth scoring has been like 5 levels above last year… ya love to see it.

  2. Nick Bjugstad, uuuuuuugggghhhhh. That's a dang-it.
But 8 wins in a row. Can we make it 9 to close out the regular season?

  3. Sure wed rather 2pts,but 1 is all we really needed.Clinch home ice, move back into 1st,& now WPG has EVERY REASON to finally get overworked Hellunbuck a rest Thursday,& play the awful David Ridich vs us. And Nashville is also eliminated for Friday.

Still work to be done, but tonight could be the best OT loss in Av history-no kissing sisters tonight-shes an unrelated hottie-granted maybe not Meghan Fox like. But we got everything we needed-still decimated by injuries vs the hottest team in the nhl-as soon as regulation expired.

Had to go 2-0-1 to win the central. Now,by far the toughest opponent is done,& the only 1 with anything to play for. Maybe Nashville has some AHL prospect who needs a game-Sarros has no reason to play that last game either. Go 2-0-0 & you play Seattle. And thats if St Louis cant bite Dallas in home,& home-i wouldnt be shocked if they stole a point or 2.

  4. Ekholm addition was like acquiring Pronger in 06, we going to the Finals, Yea Buddy!

  5. As an Oilers fan, it's scary to see how good this Avs team is. Even with a depleted roster, they managed to keep it close and (almost) held our stars off the scoresheet. Not even the Bruins worry me as much as a healthy Colorado squad in the playoffs.

  6. How historically Great is the Oilers offence??
They scored ALL the goals tonight… even the one by the Avs…lol

  7. Ойлерс !!! Браво !!! МакДевид !!! Если бы не автогол овертайма бы не было . Действительно как писали в комментариях при счёте 2-1 все голы забили Эдмонтон , бывает же такое !!!!

  8. Tbh not even mad. Oilers are hot and I knew that going in. Also best PP. So the fact the Avs still played hard without some guys is good to see and fight for a point. So I'm fine with it.

  9. So many avs fans coping so hard… "we had 5 injuries", the best ability is availability and if your team isn't healthy all season it means your players aren't as durable. Good teams find ways to win through injury, deal with it. Oilers in 6.

  10. With the Avs having a lot of guys out Im happy that they were able to kill the Oilers powerplay until overtime came, but I am not happy about how soft that penalty on byram was, literally no visible hooking motion or any stick infraction

  11. Nathan McDirty again with the slow foots. The supposed to be #3rd player of the league is trash and dirty. He is #5 at best

  12. The scoring talent on both sides was overheating the internet. Either of these two teams could wind up in the finals.

  13. Sportsnet, why not show the penalty that caused the 4 on 3 in OT, hard to follow highlights
