For the first time since 2018, the New Jersey Devils have officially clinched a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They did it in an exciting fashion against the Ottawa Senators. Jack Hughes was able to score in back-to-back straight games and seems to have found his rhythm once again. Also, Miles Wood had a run-in with Brady Tkachuk after Tkachuk had an unnecessary hit on Yegor Sharangovich.

In the after interviews they said they were not told in the locker room after period 1. But something changed after period one. They played MUCH better.
