  1. As a flames fan what do you think will happen in the off season do you think the flames will make changes and do you think the flames will fire darry

  2. Leafs have been looking for that 2nd line left winger for a long time, From what I understand Knies was going to be that, one reason they didn't get one at the trade deadline. He looked good with Nylander and O'Reilly. I think he would fit right in with O'Reilly and whoever is on the right side. Bunting can't be on the top 2 lines, Too risky. God it's a tough one but I'd have Knies on the 2nd or 3d line for sure.

  3. Yes. Put him in. I believe I had a dream and in this dream I seen the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Boston Bruins in game 6 in the second round, that’s all I am saying about this dream but I believe

  4. O dog your 100% right. Swiss army knife? Is that a joke? Kierfoot has done nothing with the puck or without! Last year he also did nothing in the playoffs to remember except that big give away that cost us game 6..lol noodles you have a short memory dude. The best option is to sit kierfoot and play the future!!

  5. AM34 needs to up his physical game now. We saw snippets of his heavy hockey side this year, add a little nasty and he is unstoppable. The "pretty hockey" season is over and it's time for beast mode. We have more talent than Tampa but they always had more nasty and they can play dirty, we have some bite now so let play in the trenches if they bring it. I believe it may be the end of Tampa's dynasty, there is a new kid in town.

  6. KNIES will have a great view of the series from press box. This kid isn’t ready after 3 games. TLM management won’t let him play without a few injuries or being beaten by Tampa

  7. The Oil did it with Tikkanen years back and it worked but putting a rookie into a playoff game with NO NHL experience is extremely risky. It could cost a game.

  8. I don’t think you can take zar out. He’s been great lately, and has been good in the playoffs for the penguins in the past

  9. Question: Given the way the refs are treating Bunting at the moment, would you consider dropping Knies in for Bunting for a game so that The Leafs don't have that distraction for the first game at home against The Lightning?

I'll probably get roasted for the suggestion and I do like Bunting a great deal; however, for the moment, he is a bit of a deficit in The Leafs line-up with the foolish, unprofessional calls the refs are and aren't making.

  10. We gotta remember that Aston-Reese and Lafferty have played their best hockey as a leaf over the last little stretch. It’s a tough decision. The most impressive thing with Knies isn’t just the way he’s looked in his first two games but the competition of the two opponents. A Florida team who’s fighting for their lives and a Tampa team who’s trying to take your life. I’m just hoping he’s not gonna be a Galchenyuk this early in his career in a playoff game. Can give you some offence but might be prone to the big mistake.

  11. Some players, especially the smart ones… find higher level hockey "easier " simply because there's a structure and a predictable aspect to it that can be anticipated and manipulated…players are more often exactly where they are supposed to be doing what they are supposed to do… guys like mcdavid, crosby, ovechkin can see ahead and thrive (not saying knies is that)…. Thats why a coaching tactic against talent teams is to create chaos, scrum it up, get pucks bouncing, short passes, eliminate space and flow. Low talent teams become masters at it and thats why teams like the leafs have difficulty with them. Knies appears to be a player who can create chaos but can think ahead and makes plays… if he keeps it up, those are the guys who win you cups. His sample size is too small, which sucks for the leafs, because they need to know now
