If you haven’t read “Boy On Ice: the life and death of Derek Boogaard” I highly recommend it. It’s a pretty emotional read, though. Still miss this guy.

It cannot be understated how valuable fighters are to have on your team, even in today’s evolving game of NHL hockey. Sure, it’s a double-edge sword because Reaves is not the most talented hockey player and takes up a roster spot, but don’t expect to take runs at Reavo’s teammates without having to answer to Reaves.

YES! I was so hyped at that moment. Unfortunately this game was the only highlight of our return to the playoffs a few years after the conference finals run.
