  1. Wow, that was a close call to make, but I am glad that Giroux got his new career high in goals, even though I am a Canucks fan.

  2. I played hockey in USA and Canada Jr hockey, absolutely no goal, I'm Boston guy, don't care either way, but I'm telling you from 60 yrs experience, No Goal.

  3. Obviously this is less of a kick than say hitting a puck that isn't moving into the net with your skate, but it looks to me like his foot is still moving forward as he makes contact with the puck, so we all ask again…what is a kick?

  4. Even though his left skate moved forward I didn't see any intent to kick it, the puck came in fast and just happened to bounce off the skate

Unless he's a good soccer player

  5. I’ve seen this called a no goal a lot, that said I think as long as the skate is on the ice it you should be able to kick it in as hard as you want.

  6. i feel like this one just depends on who the officials are tbh. yeah it was a kick but was he directly trying to kick it into the goal? who knows. I'm hype for G hitting a career high but if i was a buff fan id be pissed lmao

  7. How is this not a kick and Chytil against the Leafs called a kick?? Can they just make it if it goes in off of your own skate it's no goal so it is so straight forward??

  8. Chytil and Giroux looked awfully similar and called differently. Love the consistency by the league
