Holy fuck I can’t even be mad. I just feel like I need a shower.

  2. Ok-Curve5569

I ain’t even mad. That was a filthy goal!

  3. Zushenko

And the Nashville Predators barely beat the Iowa Wild. A bit embarrassing for them honestly.

  4. TheSkeletones

    Fleury game 1-6 basically confirmed.

  5. BuckyCop

I know this was mostly AHL, but the way the Wild ended the season I don’t see how we even compete in round one. We looked like shit down the stretch, didn’t even try to win the division and coaching was suspect at best. Just a complete downer the last week, even the Hawks win, the play was so bad.

Man I hope I’m wrong but this feels familiar

This is the first time I’ve ever been not absolutely mad with taking an OT loss.. that was filthy.

Also it had no impact on standings soo whatever.

Hot take,.I’m glad gus started tonight, he got to practice multiple scenarios of his team making mistakes where he had to step in.

  8. Durge88

Yeah, alright. On to the playoffs.

Edit: Lol, someone really hates me tonight. Enjoy I guess

  9. _nordstar_

Idk how to feel about the playoffs…

Hot take. I’m glad gus started tonight he got to practice multiple scenarios of his team making costly mistakes and trying to salvage them. That’s no discredit to our young guys it’s just they went against NHL talent so they were bound to make errors and I think it was good for Gus to be there cause say during a playoff game if our boys go cold for a period this was great practice for him.

  11. Dr__Bloodmoney

Oh no guys! They lost in OT while leaving 10 guys at home! We are fucked!!!

  12. echelon999

I don’t really dig having Gus play with the AHL team, a lot of those goals were horrid defense but that cannot help confidence going into the playoffs.

  13. basketcase-nimrod

jesus that was a pretty ender. thanks for a great regular season, i’ll see you guys in the playoffs game day thread!!

  14. letoiledunordstars

regular season over. it’s officially RECKLESS OPTIMISM TIME BABY!!!!

  15. Panarin10

Let’s hope there’s no such thing as momentum going into the playoffs.

I’m so mad. Starting Gus tonight basically confirms that they going with flower in the playoffs. WHYY?! Didn’t we make that mistake last year. If we want any chance against Dallas or Colorado then we are going to need Gus to steal us the games. Also ofc we just had to ruin his save percentage numbers with our ahl lineup.

  17. HerbalAndy

I don’t want to do the math to figure out the exact number but Nyquist is on a +100 point pace since joining the Wild.

  18. Panarin10

    Let’s look at the positives:

Nyquist is rolling, dude is a legit 2LW playing on the 3rd line.

    Kaprizov is back from injury.

Jojo apparently didn’t get a serious injury.

Gus is still stopping a ton of pucks every game.

We finished the season top 10 in goals against.

We should have a few guys who are rested.

By every metric we’re gonna be the underdog no matter who we play. This can be a good thing.

    LFG Wild
