Well boys, that’s another regular season in the books. Overall, I’d say it went pretty much as expected, with the Leafs near the top of the standings basically all season. It’s always funny to look back and think about early in the season when this fanbase wanted Keefe fired and Marner traded. It’s too bad Marner couldn’t get that final point to hit 100, but we know he’ll get there soon in his career.

We all know the actual work starts now though. I know it’s said every year lately, but this year does actually feel different, and I sure hope it actually is.

Woll is a beast and knies is a player LFG GLG

At the bar I yelled, “That’s a kick,” and someone else yelled back, “Kick your mother!”

I don’t know what that means, but the Leafs win.

  4. booomdynamite

Vegas and Jersey losing would be super tight butthole. 3rd in the league right now in points.

  5. MrBalanced

Us fans being lowkey upset that we *didn’t* blow the lead and end up in OT is, actually, the Leafiest thing ever.

  6. HeckingAugustus

Welp, nothing like a disallowed goal within 2 seconds remaining to have a nice, non-controversial ending to a meaningless game.

At least this wasn’t a playoff game

  7. johnnyd6

I am so comfortable with Woll and Samsonov

  8. justmememe55

Well I missed the entire game outside of the last 10 or so… Glad Willy scored and got the 40, sucks that Marner didn’t get the 100. But hey we won!

  9. SpicyP43905

We won our last 4 and 5 out of the last 6, brilliant way to end a season off!

  10. TayOs1998

If Marner is upset then he should just score 100 points in the playoffs

  11. buckminster_

Thank god Marner got those flubbed clearing attempts out of his system before the playoffs…

    ^(/s but not really)

League ain’t ready for the Samsonov and Woll tandem

  13. LeafsRealist

Fuck the Rangers. Fucking heros. Hope they ~~get swept~~ lose in 7 OT.

  14. JLCosta

Woll > Murray and it’s not even close…

Marner getting 100 points on the season would be an accomplishment, but honestly 99 is better for us. He’s still got something to prove.

So happy for Willy. Still remember his 1st game on this side of the pond. Took my buddy and our kids to the Marlies game. He is not much of a hockey fan. I remember him remarking on how his legs looked like twigs compared to everyone else.

We have our goalies, we have our forwards, we have our D and D depth, we’ve got our top 6 and bottom 6 scorers, we have our tough ass goons and we have a fresh crop of forwards that are hungry to play. We’re ready as we’ll ever be. Bring on the playoffs.

  18. DeathEater91

Figures the Devils and Carolina win, puts us right back to where we were in the standings.

Mariners 2nd 99 point season. Sure he’s a bit annoyed but what a season nonetheless. In every way worth his contract.

Great season from the Leafs! Have had a great run in of games and I think we look to be bringing it all together at the perfect time. The deadline acquisitions have really improved and filled holes in all areas, and our defensive structure has never been better. Even just one more win against a Chicago, Arizona, etc. Gives us 2nd place in the league only behind the team with the best record ever.

Anyone excited to see playoff Willy?
    The guy is an animal….
