With how much Crosby ovy were shoved down our throats since they came into the league, this makes me happy
I think Crosby and Letang can possibly win another Stanley Cup with a rebuild.. don't think they can afford Malkin.
as a rags fan so happy this is over i think crosbys got a little time left but for ovy its over was a great run but the caps are super bad now
10. 5 $$ MILLIONs for a 42 point season….what ? Unfortunately its all too much about WINNING! Even tho " the Caps miss play offs first time in 8 years……Ovechkin still has a place………he only got 42 goals 32 A's for 74 points……..which is why he gets $$ 9.5 til 2026….a UFA then….
It's kinda sad to see the circle of life happen in the NHL. It's unavoidable and hopefully the current players don't take this for granted

it went from drive what kane and toews drive to now drive what captain jonathan toews drives. after tonight our captain and legend, possibly the greatest blackhawk, will have played his final game with the team. an end of an era indeed. cheers to captain serious on a great career, tazer's next stop hall of fame.

Why are they not keeping such a good captain when they have a chance at Bedard? Isn't that like ditching Yzerman when you have Datsyuk and Zetterberg coming in?

PTS-WSH just got older and more banged-up, and teams like CAR and now NJD leapfrogged them after years of mediocre returns.
