    This is obviously insane, but the most impressive part about his two games was how fantastic he looked defensively. No lie, his d-zone play has been the best I’ve ever seen from him. Tonight he mixed in the offense too.

    I was at the game and you could see Jack telling him to just go after he passed it back to him out of the zone. Luke looked like he wanted to pass it back to Jack but Jack held his glove up and said “go”, and go he did!

    His first game I thought he was timid. Was fine but didn’t want to make a mistake. This game we saw flashes of why he’s so highly touted and then he makes this play at the end. So beautiful. Play this kid!

    Im not being a homer when I say that if you didn’t know that kid was playing his 2nd nhl game a few days out of the frozen four, you’d look at that goal and assume that he is like a polished multi year nhl player. Soap opera shit with these Hughes guys.
