I was like 15 when the Hawks won their first cup and watched them constantly in my youth since my parents were die hard fans. Man Kane and Toews leaving makes me weirdly emotional. But it’s mainly bittersweet. Me and my family had many memories of being together cheering the Hawks on, before they ever won the cup and for all 3 cup runs

Was never a Chicago fan, but man, watching this game – I feel for the fanbase. They finally had their time in the sun after YEARS and YEARS of struggle. When Kane left at the deadline it was a reality check and we knew it was practically over, but seeing Toews here and knowing he's done – makes me wonder how many of the other great players of the late 2000s and 2010s in the nhl are about to start their sundown period.
