  1. Yep, the penguins are no more. Their franchise shall be dissolved, & the players released back in their natural habitats

  2. Blackhawks are absolute morons for winning that game like whatโ€™s wrong with you ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคก

  3. Steve is right. Per Dimitri Filipovic: Penguins scored just 49 goals (and gave up 70) in nearly 1600 5v5 minutes without Crosby or Malkin on the ice this season. Got absolutely nothing from the bottom 6

Hextall and Burke have criminally mismanaged the Penguins. They have to be fired, if there's any hope of the Penguins doing anything before Crosby & Malkin just can't produce anymore. Hextall has cemented himself as one of the worst GMs in Pittsburgh history. A remarkable feat considering the Pirates exist.

  4. Hextall was a Philly plant, his mission was to destroy the franchise. Mission accomplished.

  5. As a Capitals fan, listening to this first thing in the morning is bliss lol

  6. The Pens problem 100% is goaltending. Jarry is abysmal and DeSmith is slightly less abysmal.

  7. Teams like Pittsburgh and Washington that have been competitive for so long, have had to sacrifice the future to win now. It eventually happens to all teams. Chicago went from champs to chumps. I expect it is Boston's turn, starting next season. As a Bruin fan that will soon be experiencing their pain, I congratulate both teams and their fans, for outstanding runs of excellence.

  8. Jason Zucker was actually great this year. He scored in big moments, he wasn't scared to get in anyone's face, and he looked like the most consistently driven player on the team most nights.

  9. You need a couch and a seat. Not 3 seats. Adam in the seat and Jess and dangle on the couch.

  10. The Marino and Matheson trades left Pitt with one of the worst back-ends in the division. Jarry was left to the wolves

  11. Just goes to show how tough the league is to get wins. Carolina should've locked the Metro division a week ago and that's gonna take 82 games to play out because they lost three straight to Buffalo, Ottawa, and Nashville, three playoff hopefuls at the time, but c'mon…

  12. hey least we don't have to see the pens get destroyed by Boston ,that's the only good way to look at it lol

  13. 100 percent bet Columbus throws last game to move higher in 1st round draw for Conor lol.

  14. One of the last years the wings made the playoffs Mrazek came on as backup in a critical moment and played really well. He was looking insane going into the next year, (I think 2016?) and that next year he was incredibly inconsistent. Heโ€™s a wildly inconsistent and confusing goaltender and always has been

  15. Definitely not the end of an era. Just because you miss the playoffs one year after making it for 16 straight seasons does not mean you're all of a sudden incapable of winning. Happens all the time when teams miss the playoffs for a year then come back the next.

  16. A half decent GM will have them back in 3rd place next year. They've still got probably another 2 years of this "era" if you will

  17. Get a decent goalie and Pitt makes the playoffs. Jarry sucks. If Sorokin and Jarry swapped places Pitt would be in

  18. They need to let Jarry go. I believe he is restricted, but I think the Penguins should try to get Swayman from Boston and if they canโ€™t, maybe they could get Gibson from Anaheim or Martin Jones. But for sure Hextall needs to go and it would help if they actually had one owner

  19. Marino trade, Matheson trade, McCann trade, losing Tanev. There are soooooo many awful moves. Why not move Dumo instead of Marino? Why didnโ€™t Heckstall protect McCann and Tanev over Carter and Blueger. Carter gotta go, Dumo gotta go. Petry gotta go. Idk Heckstall really did just accelerate them into an early rebuild.

  20. Oh, itโ€™s almost like star players need depth to winโ€ฆ Ovi didnโ€™t have that when he got knocked out in the playoffs and McDavid hasnโ€™t had it either. But because itโ€™s Sid we blame the team when theyโ€™re not playing well and when theyโ€™re winning itโ€™s because of him

  21. Love how you guys know your stuff, and the SN guys (Kyper and crew) know their stuff – and come to completely different conclusions about Cooper's remarks.

  22. It's a slow, painful death we've all seen coming. I gave them no shot of beating both Chicago and Columbus. Getting 4 points, whatever

  23. There old, Crosby, Malkin & Letang used to be league leaders now barely top 15
