Lockett is a great receiver and in most cases he makes good decision on underneath routes to go down before big hit. He never used to do that.

look at the haul the panthers gave to go from 9 to 1, to move to the #2 slot would have to net much more than the texans got in this scenario or its not worth it.

IMO if Texans go Will Anderson #2 and get to #12 with Bijan still on the board then Patriots send Mac and Stevenson to the Texans for #12.. Patriots take Bijan and send #14 to the Ravens as part a package for Lamar Jackson.
I would be absolutely pissed if the lions drafted like this lmao. After getting Sewell, hutch, and Jamo in the last two years, we waste our first pick on someone that will not do anything for our team while we are in win now mode. Jared Goff is not Alex Smith. Smith at best was slightly above average, while goff is top 10 and looks better than when he lead the rams to the super bowl. Hell I'd be happier if we grab tyree wilson at 6 and spend 18 on third round projected Dorian Thompson-Robinson. We still need D-Line for this next season, since Aiden Hutchinson can't do it alone and needs more than our guys who are great rotational guys, but hardly true starters. We need a Guard. This CB class is deep as hell, we have two seconds and CBs are almost never an asset in their first year. Developmental guys ae what we should get, and we shouldn't reach this bad. If we are dead set on him, trade back.
Lions have made it known they are good with Goff (or at least Goff and his contract for now). ZERO chance that trade happens for Stroud.
