when you over exert or try too hard – beyond what your body is capable of —- injury is inevitable. when Lindgren was on Mtl it was similar. trying beyond what his body was capable of. i think he thinks that if he plays within himself – he wont be in the League much longer so he tries to go beyond. i wish i had this level of drive & compete, i may have accomplished something in my life lol.
Hate to see him hurt. Stupid anouncing "he got run over! He got absolutely run over after a great save! He was running over!" He wasn't touched. Hate to see it. Hes a great goalie. Who gave that announcer a job dude?
He wasn't run over. He wasn't even touched. He tweaked something when he scorpion'd to stop the shot. At the very least, acknowledge that you said something stupid.

This is very sad news. Also, I hope that goalie will get well soon and we'll see him next season, despite that the Caps are out of the playoffs.
