Real fans who watched the 82 game season. See Marner as a 100 plus point player through and through. So get over it. Sure he could have had it if he wasn't sat… he also could have been snapped in two by lesser players. Can't have it all. Remember these feelings when the Leafs make the final push over the lighting!

JD you dont build a winning team by just choosing the best players. When they assembled team canada for the Olympics they didn't just pick the 12 most skilled forwards. You need balance. You need guys that fill a certain role. Knies is good but I dont trust him as much as I trust the other bottom 6 guys. Leafs have been searching for a physical tough bottom 6 for years and now you want to go with a kid that played 3 nhl games? We dont need another galch/dermott giveaway that loses us an important playoff game
Best hockey Marner has ever played. He has me saying WOW almost every game. Love the guy.
I don't think its that big of a deal that Marner didn't get 100 points. Its still early in his career . Only minor concern I have is regarding Matthews and Marner playing in significant games and clutch moments. Can they play under pressure and still perform at an elete level. When things are on the line….Is this game a prime example of that. Matthews should've barried that chance in front of goal. Some guys always seem to have that x factor and can score timely goals. Tavares and Nylander seem to have that based on playoff performance.

Jd is right . Logically it would make more sense to start knies and pull him game 2 if they lose rather than sit him game 1 and play him game 2 if they lose

Nylander showed how much he holds back in some games..when 40 goals was on the line he worked hard every shift.
No matter how many points he may get in the playoffs he will always be at 99 points for the season lmao playoff points and regular season points are seperately tracked
