I still can’t believe they let MacTavish behind an NHL bench. I knew the season was doomed when that was announced.

Kinda surprised about Van Ryn honestly, I know our defense has struggled these past 2-3 years, but Army didn’t do him any favors. Anyone else think it wouldn’t be a shock to see Army NOT make changes to the D and see if a new coach can squeeze out better play from the big three?

Thanks to Van Ryn and his work in bringing us the cup, but based on this season’s defensive play, he HAD to go.
As for McTavish, it was a failed experiment…failed miserably. Since he was relieved of PK duty, no one really knew what he did.
Edit: MacT was relieved of PK duty, not PP duty.

MacTavish was one of the weirdest choices ever. Complete opposite of Monty

Had to happen. It’ll be interesting to see who they find for PK.

Other coaches love guys like parayko and krug. Makes sense to get someone else in to try and revitalize those 2.

lol feels like firing everyone except those responsible

Glad Ott stays. McTavish was garbage, and Van Ryn had his time.

The Blues aren’t fucking around and I’m here for it.

Thank Christ. They were terrible. MacT Hockey is losing hockey.

Not even 24 hours since seasons end.

Not that any of us are surprised.

Right call. Van Ryn had gone stale and McTavish was just a Chiarelli old boy type hire. Hope they get someone good to fill those roles
