Hi. I’m “Gio Palermo”, also known as “legorocks99” (“legorocks99Gaming”, “LR99Gaming”, or “LR99”). I post video game commentaries on YouTube revolving around hockey, with a primary focus on “Vancouver Canucks”, “Montreal Canadiens”, “Detroit Red Wings”, and NHL top “prospects” topics. I enjoy making these videos and I hope that you enjoy watching them!

I am also a student at the BCIT Radio Arts & Entertainment program, and this YouTube channel is an essential part of my 2020 BCIT radio portfolio.

  1. Thanks for the shout out and for the great video as always. I enjoy how you break down news from Dhaliwal in particular. Nice job, bro.

  2. The only chance Bailey gets is if we run into cap space issues in which we need to pass on an expiring contract or move a more expensive 3rd or 4th liner.

Or Justin Bailey gets an opportunity elsewhere.

    I wouldn’t mind either circumstance.

  3. Hey llego, I've recently been looking through a lot of mulch at and I saw Alex cotton who I have heard a little about and I looked at his point totals and I was just astonished why he wasn't in the same conversation as guys like Kaiden guhle, Braden Schneider, and Jeremy Poirier like that second tier of defenseman in the 2020 draft he was over a point-per-game with the Lethbridge hurricanes this year as a defenseman

  4. Giving you something to chew on…. (If) we have our pick for this year's draft and as far as I can tell it'll be 12th spot unless we shift up or down… And Askarov somehow gets past Chicago… would you draft him with the pick, or trade down with a team like Ottawa and get the the 16th pick and a second round pick… knowing that he's probably going to be in KHL for 2 years…

  5. Give it up on Baertschi. He is weak on the puck, weak in the corners, and just plain weak. He was a goal scorer when playing with Horvat on the powerplay. Otherwise, he has zero value. On the left wing he is behind Miller, Pearson, Ferland, Erickson, Roussel, Motte, Bailey, and MacEwen. Baertschi only gets points on a top line, so who would you take off the team in Miller or Pearson to fit in Baertschi? You should stick with your rah rah rah type videos and just repeat real hockey reporter interviews, because when you put in your opinion, then you often have egg on your face. This is a nice venue to hear all of what has been reported. If you truly still think Baertschi is an NHL player, then watch his last game. When he pathetically, with the weak effort only Baertschi could deliver I might add, checked his man who scored, that was his last NHL game in my opinion. Just prior to the goal, he was oh so easily pushed off the puck, another Baertschi trademark I may also add, that it created an opportunity the other way, in which they scored. Scored only because of Baertschi being weak on the puck and weak on the man. By the way, you may be the last hold out on Baertschi returning to the Canucks or NHL. You need to wake up and smell the coffe on the Baertschi issue. I for one, after watching that shift I previously talked about, knew that was his last game. Talking about it on other sites right after the game. Baertschi is weak on the puck, man, and in the corners. Don’t be weak on the videos.

  6. Canucks defence depth? It's a chess game to be sure. Assuming you are bringing back Myers, Edler, Hughes, and then you have Fantenburg, Tanev and Stecher as wild cards. That doesn't include Benn, who seemed underwhelming last year, PLUS making room for Rafferty, Juolevi and maybe Tryamkin?? Log jam…….The Comets have the same issue. Apparently bringing back Jalen Chatfield, Guillaume Brisebois, and Ashton Sautner, and assuming Rafferty and Juolevi are NHLers next year, there's room for 3 or 4 more D men. Woo, Utenen, Rathbone could all slide in there, but we haven't mentioned last years signing of Josh Teves and Mitch Eliot. I guess Kristoffer Gunnarson, Matt Brassard and Cole Candella have dropped off the radar, possibly for good.
