  1. I hated it when Pitt didn’t protect him in the draft and traded him to Toronto. I knew he had potential.

  2. I can’t believe we traded him for hot garbage… lol Just more of the same thing— ownership forcing our hand to “win now.” We are actually great at drafting potential stars now (Post Juolevi) yet we are trading away our draft picks to sign experienced players to “win now” again. To top it off the Canucks go and finish high enough to pick out of the top 10 again at 11. So ridiculous. 😂😔

  3. the canucks didn't give him a chance to develop. florida saw what he was and unloaded one of the biggest stiffs the canucks ever traded for.

  4. I have noticed a trend from Canucks management, they seem to be very impatient when it comes to a new players on ice results

They frequently draft decent players, give them one year to play at NHL level. Then just trade them away for basically when they arent superstars in that first year

  5. Crazy how Leafs lost out on him, ive always seen it as they left out a good player like McCann just so they can keep Holl..

  6. Most fans I heard said he was a bust. Good defensively but couldn't score. I have been a bit of a dreamer and thought he would be just a little less than he is now. Did not expect 40. And it took a while. Fans here would have wanted him out eventually. Just before he would play better anyway. I liked him because of his hard heavy hockey. He is smart, good hockey IQ.I think he is sort of a unicorn. Rare skills. You could see him develop. I think he is a winner. Even a leader type guy.
