  1. lol, the Toronto media only has a few default things they're able to say, beyond that they're clueless to say anything new or significant.

  2. I say this as a diehard Oilers fan for decades now: no team is "destined" for success. Favorites lose all the time in the playoffs. Plus you need only ask any Oilers fan about officiating to know that sometimes it's not the players causing a loss. Hopefully this year the refs are going to actually call penalties when McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH, etc get grabbed and hacked at because some years it's been really awful.

What the Oilers are is a skilled group that has patched holes in their game and is among the most dangerous teams in the league. They are poised to be real contenders but like McDavid said last night, there are 16 teams in the running and they all made it there by being the best this year had to offer. I am excited and cautiously optimistic, but there are no certainties in hockey beyond knowing that Oilers hockey is always full blast and so no matter what happens it's going to be entertaining.

  3. Team on his back 😂😂😂 what a clown. Oilers have what 12 players on the roster with more than 10 goals this season? This is a deep team with the three headed monster of Mcdavid, Drai, and Nuge to lead the charge. Backed by beasts like Hyman, Kane, Ekholm and Nurse. Anchored by some massive body’s out there like Bugstadt and Desharnais. Plus young guys like Bouchard and McLeod who have the potential to heat up and play well above their pay grade. People saying this is a one man team are on another planet.

  4. What a lazy, uninspired, thoughtless take. Thats all it takes to be on the radio hey? These boys gonna be straight up weeping on air after Toronto gets bounced 1st round.

  5. Come on guys…Do better. Be better. Connor carrying the team on his back? Drai has 128 points. Nuge has 103. Hymen has 83. Depth scoring. All star goaltending. What a waste of two minutes. The Edmonton who…

  6. Oilers are a soft team with no depth scoring or defense while playing in a pathetic weak division. When the going gets tough, the Oilers fold BAHAHAHAHA

  7. Vasilevskiy has 0.001% higher save percentage than Skinner. Same with Shestarkin.

  8. As much as I love the oilers…. They won’t win this year. Mark my comment

  9. They went to the conference final last year and they have a substantially better team this year than they did last. Give em some credit bub

  10. Playoff success has so many factors, it sure helps if you have mcdavid on your team who can open up a game on his next shift. I’ll be cheering for mcdavid and Campbell this year. But first it’s the leafs 😂

  11. I cant say i know anything about this playoffs l…except i fully expect Toronto to choke

  12. Oilers are legit in the west. My leafs are the better team than Tampa but that hasn’t helped in the past. Leafs were better than Blue Jackets, better than the Habs yet they lost. It’s all mental with this group they have the roster to win. Are they mentally tough enough to win tho. I don’t know.

  13. Some things have to go right but this is as good a team as you can realistically ask for… jump on the wagon and enjoy the ride!

  14. Remember TSN (a little while ago, one of you did mention that McDavid would get 70 Goals, while the other two said 50/50, I was saying back then about One Month ago or so, he would get between 60-65 Goals, and I was closer, so what does that one person with TSN SAY ABOUT THAT 70 GOALS NOW?

  15. Sorry oilers fans , I cemented their fate. I put 100 bucks on the oilers to win and I never win anything! I am cheering against them . Rather see them lose then take the 1200 payout. Lol. Also put some money on Boston 😜
