One x-factor that concerns me in this series is what type of playoff officiating do we get. Kutch, Hedman, and Perry have well warranted reputations of crossing the line making some pretty dirty plays. If the refs start allowing to much of the dirty stuff it won't go well for the Buds.

I am not necessarily a Leaf's fan but I think they win Sammy can hold it down in net and the depth on this team is WAY better than last year with Matthews 1C Tavares 2C O'Reilly 3C Acciari 4C The defence could use a bit of work still but I believe in that blue line being there and helping the Leaf's Win that series
Tampa leads in PIM this year, and the last 5 years. They're kinda dirty team so we'll see how it goes with the refs.

What scares me is the league knows the leafs are vulnerable having no back up. I almost expect Perry to get frustrated and run Samsonov. I still believe that injury to Tavares was “ acidentally on purpose” and it cost them that series where Price stood on his head. I can foresee a similar result here but I hope I’m wrong

As a lightning fan I think it all comes down to second third and fourth line . Do I think either first line can take over the series yes . But I think it will happen maybe for the lightning just because of Toronto goaltending but besides that I see it being a hard grind series
