Boston’s Adam McQuaid was ejected for this knee-on-knee hit against Ottawa’s Nick Foligno. More at http://eye-on-hockey.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/view/27694626
@davidhowland14 What are you blind, really dude. McQuaid had his leg out so far that only the very back of his blade is touching the ice. He stretched out further when Foligno tried to tuck his leg in to go around him. INTENT to injure is the only way to look at this.
This doesn't look intentional in the sense that he came after Foligno to deliver that Knee on Knee. It looks a lot more like a split second decision that unfortunately, was the wrong one.
I think the fact that McQ had no weight on the leg when he kicked it out, and that it was more of a trip, contributed to the fact that he's only getting the fine. As a B's fan, I actually think this deserved a game or two, if only to shut up the 'Boston never gets anything' crowd.
People are fucking retarded saying the B's never get anything. Two fines in the past week for obviously cheap plays. No more or less than any other team. Half the dirty hits out there never get in trouble. Just because the bruins are doing good everyone complains. They don't win games by being cheap, they win games by out playing other teams.
@serjTankian Charas hit of paciorretty was a hit that wouldnt have been bad if it wasnt for that post. Lucic i agree should have gotten a suspension for the hit on miller. But McQuaid and Marchand just got fines recently for hits that werent deserving of suspensions. People need to learn to grow up and realize its hockey its not some pansy sport, people are gonna play hard and there are going to be some dirty hits on both ends. I don't think the NHL looks away just because they are the Bruins.
@freiheitadler But yes I think Porter shouldn't have gotten that suspension in the first place. A fine is suitable not a suspension for that. I think the only real suspensions from hits should be for defenseless hits from behind or to the head other than that there is really no need
@nhlsuperstar0816 evgeni artyukin got suspended 3 games for the same slew foot marchand threw. Only he didn't have a record. Marchand is a repeat offender so the fact aht he only got a fine proves that the bruins do indeed get away with a lot. Mcqauid easily could have and should have been suspended too.

what do you expect from a goon team
its a game of split-second reactions. that was the wrong reaction from McQuaid
minimum of 3 games suspension!!! lets see what shanahan does with that play!
@davidhowland14 Really? I'd like to have what you're smoking. Either you have the IQ of a newborn or you're a homer Bruins fan or both…probably both…

Porter got suspended, McQuaid didn't?
@pyder31 It just happened yesterday, he'll get a hearing soon.
From the city that STILL won't stop crying about Ulf Samuelsson…..
Wonder what Cam Neely is thinking…
@CONTRAHABS Hey dumbass, this happened yesterday there hasn't been a hearing yet.

@flamingfartz Not that Contra isn't a dumbass, but not everyone gets a 'hearing'. They levied a $2500 fine at 5:15 EST.
@ljspaziani You're right, I'm a dumbass myself, I just got the news a little while ago :p.

Foligno used to be a hockey player then he took a knee on knee.
@SerjTankian98 if the charas hit was on the opposite side of the rink where the glass continues, would it have been a bad Paciorretty, of course not
