How does his play translate to the NHL?
What’s beautiful is that it’s just not the points with Josh, he is actually a very complete player who takes over games no matter the opponent. He’s not that typical junior player that gets a shit ton of points just because of his skills.
He plays 5v5, PK and PP great and can be physical even if it’s not his role. So, if his offense ends up not translating to the pros, he could be playing in the bottom 6 without hurting his team in my opinion.
We’re so lucky to see him play here in Sherbrooke, but I can’t wait to see him next year, whether it’s in Montréal or Laval (as of right now, we have too many forwards in the NHL so I think he starts in the AHL). And I’m very happy he got to shine in the world juniors.
