Where’s the best landing spot for Connor Bedard?

The Anaheim Ducks have secured the best odds to draft Connor Bedard at the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The TSN That’s Hockey panel shares their thoughts on where they would like to see Bedard end up.

  1. Detroit deserves him after all these years of being absolutely hosed in the lottery. They have gone through a true rebuild the right way, tearing it down and being terrible for years after years of success and haven't had ANY lottery luck and still picked solid players. Bedard on their team brings em back to relevance, which is something the NHL would love in the Michigan market.

  2. Montreal makes too much sense. It's good for hockey to have someone like that in the market of Montreal and he's a perfect fit for their timeline. At least then we can watch Bedard in the playoffs unlike somewhere like San Jose. Teams like Columbus have no idea what they're doing

  3. I wld love if the blues won the 1st overall but we have a 3% chance. 10th overall in this draft is still awesome tho

  4. I think Columbus needs him the most, but I don't want him in my team's division, so I selfishly hope he goes to Anaheim

  5. If he doesn’t go to the ducks or jackets the nhl draft lottery is rigged asf !

  6. If the ducks land him they will be legit contenders in a couple of years and than possibly winning cups…they have a lot of young talent…but It’s the NHL and it may be fixed and he will go to a bankrupt franchise to rebuild thier fan base…which I hope isn’t so for his sake

  7. I'm mf prayin that Detroit gets bedard…we mf need him , we've got few young good players but still missing something, I'm pretty sure bedard is the it 🙃

  8. What a clown saying Suzuki needs a winger in Bedard.

Sorry but as soon Bedard lands in MTL, if hes in MTL, he will become right away the first center !

Suzuki will be where he belong. The second line !

  9. Arizona is going to get him based on the fact that they need him the most. New rink and Star player means if it doesn`t work in Arizona then nothing will. I also like the young players that Arizona have and will add in the next three years but it still feels a bit of a waste but they really need him.

Anaheim & San Jose are just no thanks for me!! Montreal & Philadelphia I think will eat him up and spit him out. Columbus also needs him but not a sexy choice so my second choice would be Chicago; I guess.

  10. These analysts are so Fricken biased. I haven’t seen one analyst cheering for Anaheim

  11. Just don’t land in Philly…they ruin every young talent since the early 90’s……but as a flyers fan it would be awesome.

  12. Anywhere that he can be the face of the team and get mega contracts, that's all that matters in the show. Winning's great, but it's an organizational victory not dependent on any player. Most draftees don't give a shit about the destination, only the opportunity. Planes, limos and motels, that's the life of an NHL'er. You think they care about the crest on the jersey at first? Hell no, all they're doing is making bank and banging babes, from coast to coast.

  13. Kuzmenko – Pettersson – Bedard
    Podkolzin – Miller – Lekkerimaki
    Hoglander – Aman – Mikheyev

  14. Non bias my team made playoffs
San Jose needs him or michkov most
They don't have barely any prospects,NHL roster is old and not great having a face of franchise could change it.
The other teams on list all have good prospects Montreal has caufield,Suzuki,Dach, Xhekaj, guhle probably Dubois,Hutson Harris.
    Anaheim has zegras,McTavish,gaucher,mintyukov,Zellweger,Hinds,Drysdale.
    Columbus- jiricek,mateychuk,Svozil,silliness,Johnson.
Blackhawks would be my second choice losing Kane, toews they still have korchinski, nazar, del mastro, dach, teply, kurashev.

  15. History will repeat itself. Dallas Eakins left Edmonton, and Oilers got Connor McDavid. Mark my words history will repeat itself.

  16. anaheim would be the best landing spot plus they need a goon like bedard cuz zegras is so soft

  17. I worry that Bedard would conflict with Suzuki being captain. Undoubtedly, Bedard will become an NHL captain someday.

  18. How many people are talking about Bedard’s size? He’s small as hell for NHL. There’s so many monsters that can put this dude down. Overrated?

  19. Betman will send him to Arizona… then the leafs will trade him for Matthews and a couple 1sts 💀
