As an aside, they were auctioning off the jerseys for the year. The team had an alternate jersey for Publix Sundays (it’s a grocery chain in the Southeast). Saville, who left us for the greener pastures of Henderson, was most everyone in Savannah’s first favorite player–he was regularly defending against 40 to 45 SOG. Anyway his unsigned alternate jersey auctioned $6k.
