At 5 on 5 we are the better team. That being said there are a few ways we lose
1. Shesterkin just goes nuts and is the best player in the series 2. We kill ourselves with D zone turnovers 3. We take too many penalties
Assuming we can score on Igor, stay out of the box, and play smart in our zone, we have this. We should be able to control play 5 on 5 and we will get our chances. We also need Vitek to be solid. Not great, not series stealing. Just solid. Give me .915 goaltending and we will beat these guys.

Rangers have three things to their advantage. Shesterkin, PP, and they are crazy opportunistic.
Staying out of the box and eliminating d zone hiccups (clear the fucking zone) will help nullify two of the things that could drown us. Shesterkin, idk, he could steal the entire series but he’s not unbeatable.

As a Rangers fan, I can tell you this article is dead wrong. Just hang out in the neutral zone and wait for Panarin, Kane, Miller, or everyone else to turn over the puck. Eventually we’ll leave Igor out to dry. I don’t think there’s a realistic chance of us beating you. You have a talented team and we have a washed up all American (who everyone is jerking off over) that plays no defense, and is in extreme physical pain every time he takes the ice (you can see it on his face). We have a top scorer who disappears during the playoffs. Our kid line skates like their 40, slow and disgusting. I say Devs in 6. Welcome back to the rivalry. ❤️🔥
