I’ve seen some rage today that Dorofeyev may be scratched to make room for Stone in the line up. Kolesar is far from being the weakest link in the line-up. 7th in hits on the year and plays his ass off. I could understand the argument for scratching Howden, heck even Kessel. Not Kolesar. I don’t get why people hate on him and he isn’t getting paid nearly what some guys who have been underperformed these last few years. He’s stayed in the line-up with 2 different coaches, it’s a shame some fans don’t see his value. He isn’t going to put 30 goals a year. To them he’s a bust if not.

I’ve really liked Kolesar this year. Defensively responsible, very physical, and strong hockey IQ. Tons of character. He’s not perfect. But he plays with heart.
Carrie + Kolesar are a magical pairing. I think it was Shane Nhidy who said our top line had one of the best zone start percentages in the league when those two were together on the 4th.
