Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning got a two minute minor penalty for interference against Brett Pesce of the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 2 of their second round series.
This does not deserve a suspension at all the guy skated into kucherovs path, and it technically is a hockey play because it is a hit. Although it is a bit late, a three game suspension is definitely not warranted especially after schifle (idk if i spelled it right) only got 4 games for literally knocking a guy out and basically taking him out of the playoffs
You’re baked if you thought this was 3-5 games in playoffs. Shoulder to shoulder, wasn’t that late, the guy turning into the hit was just unfortunate, nothing kucherov can do when he’s already committed to that hit
