  1. It appears the habs are giving last looks for Teasdale & Allard since both contracts are expiring.Really can’t see them signing these and other players due to the log jam of talent. But reviewing Laval rockets might be interesting to do.

  2. Pinard is a C at best, his overinflated value is only temporary and he is older than Ylönen. Harris has a high ceiling, should be A. He is a higher ceiling then Xhekaj and I love Xhekaj. Slav's problem was he was stuck on the 4th line. He played 6 minutes on many games. No player well develop that way. Montreal has to many players that had to shop to try to trade. They lost focus on development this year.

A lot of the players on the roster now need to go.

  3. My approximative tier list :
    S : Guhle, RHP
    A : Xhekaj, Harris
    B : Barron, Ylonen
    C : Kovacevic
    D : Slafkovsky

  4. Every players has their mistakes, things to work on.
Agree with Slaf, he wasn't ready.
RHP gets highest regards, adapts to different lines, scores, finishes checks, blocks shots…

Harris and Kovacevic were kind of quietly yet impressively effective in their games, just solid.
Guhle and Xhekaj the most promising potential for the future. Both with strong aspects to grow on in many areas and a few areas that need work. To me, their +'s and -'s … could easily interchange these 4 D-man in A/B tier.

Barron and Ylonen, both have their moments yet otherwise easily unnoticed. I'm not convinced. C

  5. Slaf being ready has nothing to do with anything. He's the type of player that just needs to get used to the NHL. As he gets older and use to that big size he has hel be a beast. Those type of players won't benefit from going OHL. Plus he had 10 pts in 39 pts as a powerforward.. that isn't bad as a rookie who hasn't played in North America. Look at players like jack Hughes who only had 21 in like 65 games or something and he's a skilled forward not a powerforward. Slaf just needs to get used to playing against NHLers! This isn't rushing him hel be a beast in a few seasons.

  6. S : Caufield, Suzuki, Dach, Guhle, Slafkovsky, Hutson (Core)

A : Farrell, Xhekaj, Barron, Harris, Harvey-Pinard, Roy, Mailloux (Could be Elite)

B : Ylonen, Heineman, Beck, Kovacevic, Struble, Kidney, Mesar, Pezzetta, Belzile (Bottom Lines)

C : Trudeau, Simoneau, Primeau, Beaudin, Dobes, Schueneman, Norlinder, Fairbrother, Allard, Teasdale, Engstrom, Kapanen, Tuch, R.Pitlick, Davidson (Fringe NHLer)

D : Mysak, Sobolev, Smith, Smilanic, Dichow, Nurmi, Davidson, Guindon, Rohrer, Kostenko, Tourigny, Vrbetic, Biondi (Probably Won't Play)

Hopefully we add 2 S-tiers at the Draft!

  7. I knew RHP was going to be great I thought Teasdale was going to be better but injuries have stopped his development for a while but both killed it with my dads hometown team Rouyn-Noranda Huskies so I got too see them a lot in the Q before getting drafted. Glad too see both get a shot this season.

  8. Sorry bro, but this is by FAR your worst video… you can't put Slafkovsky into the D tier c'mon! He has played the vast majority of the season on the 4th line with no names wingers, plus when he has play on the second with a talented player like Monahan he scores 5 points in 7 games. Next year, he will shout up everyone dirty mouth about him. It become disgusting to see some low life sheeting on the youngest player into the NHL.

  9. MTL trade for BEDARD, currently 5th in the league so a possible Fantilly, Carlson, Mitchkov or Will Smith for Bedard and first-round pick Mailloux. 2 first-round picks for a first overall. Mailloux had 25 goals as a D and MVP of London Knights but habs young defense makes him expendable. Add possible 2nd rounder make it a win win!.
