Following the team’s end-of-season media availability, Postmedia’s Bruce Garrioch reports that DeBrincat was non-committal when asked about a possible contract extension with the club. He added that general manager Pierre Dorion could look to trade the forward if a long-term extension is not in place by the NHL Draft in June.

WTF am I seeing here? This is embarrassing. DeBrincat is clearly someone you wanna keep. He's had a down year but I guarantee you next year he'll be back to scoring 35+ goals. If the Sens trade him I'm gonna be hella disappointed
