Yes, this is temporary and just for the playoffs, btw. Don’t fret, there will be plenty of Ducks coverage this summer and beyond!
You guys seriously are taking this personally? Derek has been asked by The Sporting Tribune to provide increased Kings coverage since they’re in the playoffs and Ducks aren’t. One of the best things about Derek is his professionalism in his work and that doesn’t mean taking your pre-conceived notions about journalists having to be fans to cover the team out on him for putting his desire to deliver professionalism and high quality when he’s asked to toward another team for a month or two.
