  1. He played more than a couple of games at Duke. He sprane his knee on a shoe blowout at Duke. He wasn't always hurt in high school either.

  2. It's hard to change your diet living in the N. O the food is off the chain. If you not discipline you cannot make it in the N. O

  3. The answer to your question is Joel Embiidā€¦.Believe it or not, Zion has played more games than Embiid over the same course of time at the start of their careers. Embiid was able to recover, play a significant amount of games per season and is a BEAST!!! Itā€™s possible that Zion can do the same.

  4. His Contract protected the Pelicans not the NBA. Zion said he was not Mentally Ready not Hurt Ready. Get rid of him. He has 7 Weight clauses in his Contract. He met the Weight Requirements now it is Mental like Ben Simmons. Trade his Lazy Butt. Bottom Line.

  5. The best 'Ability' is Availability and the second is Accountability. Everytime Zion goes out he comes back bigger. The biggest concern about zion has come true. Issues with his size and style of play. One injury and it's all down hill from there.

  6. What are you talking about 82 games???? The kids has played 29 this year and 24 2 years ago. The work load is not the problem the problem is the load donā€™t want to work!!!!!! He is exactly what he showed you to be and thatā€™s a kid who has zero desire to play or win. He only wants his money for nothing.

  7. Didn't know Zion was injury prone in HS too.šŸ˜® These players get these checks, and stops playing (Irving, Simmons, Leonard, Zion).. Bad for the future of the game. This will effect future TV contracts coming up in 2024.

  8. It's a sad thing, because the franchise sent Zion to a wellness camp last year, to get him condition and teach him nutrition and diet regimen, he was losing the weight came back played one or two games and he was back out, and back doing the same thing,i actually think it would be good to let him out of his contract because he doesn't want to play anymore.

  9. U gotta realize his teammates are not Zions aga. I mean he did come in at the same time ja and Edwards and look at there growth. Itā€™s like dam and u was 1 and once he do get health we have to all build chemistry. Which may take a season or two so thatā€™s dam near 3 years to get it together. An yā€™all kno how trades go throughout the season so u gotta make a choice trade him to win now or rebuild. An I donā€™t think they wanna rebuild

  10. Well, Pelicans I will say this Zion is a good player but what good is a good player not playing and he wants a big payout….šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤”….what the hell. I say shop him for another good player and draft picks he is always hurt, he is out of shape and he is not contributing to the team on the bench. I understand health comes first but get it together Zion. You got all the resources, financial stabilty, and time to be in tip top shape and you are pissing it away. Get off your ass and get in shape bruh put in the work and stop wasting space! Get off your ass and do something bruh it won't happen unless you put it into motion. I wish I had the resources, financial stability, and time to put into getting in shape. C'mon man!!!!

  11. He make too much money to let food addiction keep him at that weight he need to get to 235 245 range and he can have a better and safer career I wish him the best

  12. Zion like to eat ,basketball players run everyday and he still gaining weight , so you can imagine how much his big ass eat damn , up all night on the road sneaking food , remember Oliver Miller google his big ass pleasešŸ¦§šŸ™€

  13. Zion proves that of all the traits a player can have, what good is talent & skill if your AVAILABILITY is suspect??

  14. Every morning went I get up to go to work I feel like crap but I still go and do my work

  15. I agree you have to prepare yourself in the off-season to be prepared for the season. He needs to lose weight and have a good fitness coach and a diet plan. Frfr

  16. I donā€™t think Zion likes the rigors of the NBA, he probably doesnā€™t even like playing b-ball that much anymore, plain n simple.

  17. Dude can't help his size. Some people are just built differently and can't control it. I don't care what diet he's on he's always going to be big bodied.

  18. Mann a damn Hamstring strain dont take 3-4months to heal. And worst case scenario is he pulled the hamstring if he came back. You have the whole summer to rest snd heal. Why not give it shot. Cmon smh.

  19. I said back during the draft lottery when the Pelicans won the #1 pick that they needed to draft Ja Morant. Jerry West came out and said Ja was far and away the best player in that draft. Who better to trust with information like that than the architect of two of the Lakers most formidable dynasties. Showtime and Shaq & Kobe. He advised them about the pieces to add around Magic and Kareem. He told everyone about what Kobe was going to be and what he was going to do before anyone had an idea. He helped advise the Clippers and the Grizzlies in positive directions where those franchises turned completely around for the better and are competitive. Zion has too much weight on his frame to play at the level the NBA requires for an entire season plus playoffs. He and his family also don't want him to play for the Pelicans. That said, that's why they're getting what they're getting from him now.

  20. Zion & Michael Thomas come to New Orleans if u wanna get paid & stay home ..dude should call shaq or Charles they both were big & avoided serious injuries

  21. First off he needs to be in the 240-245 range and focus on staying at that range. Easier said then done but a man who makes millions of dollars and have access to the best trainers, nutritionists, and facilities it can be done. At 240 he can play the 3.

  22. He can't sustain that amount weight especially being explosive. He reminds me of John Williams who played at Crenshaw High. Both talented players but their weight was a big issue.
