Golden Knights VS Jets | Are the Jets An Easy Out or a Sleeping Giant?

The Winnipeg Jets came down to the wire in qualifying for the playoffs, but with the stellar play all season of Connor Hellebuyck, and a healthy Nikolaj Ehlers heading into the playoffs, could the Jets be a sleeping giant, or fodder for Vegas Golden Knights?

  1. I don't think the Jets will get bounced out of the playoffs by the Golden Knights. This is gonna be Jets in 6 games

  2. The ads are playing right now, but I quickly want to predict that TSN, a Canada-based network, will say that the Jets are not an easy out. Will report back after I watch the video.

Edit: LOL what do you know… not even 30 seconds in and Craig Button's punchable face says that they're not an easy out. Obvious bias is obvious.

  3. Vegas Golden knights may be the most successful early franchise coming out of the gates😂💥🇨🇦🇺🇸

  4. Namestikov as a number 2 center scares me…. also Jets doesnt have the defensive depth to match Vegas. Wheeler is over the moon, hes no longer the player he used to be. I do like Lowry and Appleton though

  5. Depends on what Jets team shows up. If it's the team from the last 7 games, or from late November/early December, and especially if Hellebuyck is on, they definitely have a shot. If it's the team from mid February-late March, then no chance for them. Personally I'm tempering my expectations, but there is a way for them to win the series.

  6. As much as I hope the Jets, Oilers and Leafs will all win their opening-round series, I don't see ANY of the Golden Knights, Kings and Bolts being easy outs.

  7. They are a far cry from a sleeping giant, but I doubt they are an easy out either.
