Eakins was a terrible coach in Edmonton and has been the same with the Ducks. Why this clown has a job in the NHL is beyond me. Hoping the Ducks will get that #1 pick and get Bedard at the draft.
Kind of a real joke because firing the coach is like management saying the team is much better which in that case would tell everyone management does have a clue. Seeing some of the moves and the current team my god I would have fired management and the scouts a long time ago.This team has a monumental task of rebuilding this will take several years unless they have a pile of cap space to buy FA's. i have been a frustrated habs fan my entire life "well there were some great years " and management of the Habs has also been terrible over the years so I feel for the Ducks fans. There is NO WAY in hell ANY coach EVER in the history of the NHL could make this Anaheim team a winner.
I think this is what we call throwing the coach under the bus.Many like to call it "part of the business" but that is a sucky cop out NO YOU the manager are to blame fix yoru team give your coach a CHANCE to win. I do really like Zegras i had him labelled as a can't miss NHL 'r but man alive you need a TEAm you need systems there is a LOT to building a winner.Sure any team on occasion can stumble into a winning season via hitting teams at the right moment home away games etc etc powerplays but any decent manager SHOULD be able to spot a winning team from a losing roster and Anaheim needs a LOT of work.
