OMG Homer. I pick Edmonton to win this series in 6. Your emotions have the best of you. Blaming the refs is super sour grapes because EDM deserved every call that went against them and about FIVE others that weren’t called. The Homer EDM crowd is so conditioned to hearing the entire NHL media that you are choking on your own Kool Aid because everytime an Oiler gets checked the crowd groans like “that can’t be legal!?!?” Pathetic.
The only missed call against LA was the too many men on the ice infraction, and honestly, it retrospect it was probably a good non-call because LA didn’t gain any advantage, all that happened was the puck hit the LA sixth player trying to jump over the boards

i love the exaggeration on missed kings penalties and the downplay on oilers penalties. You cant post a live reaction right after the game and expect your personal bias to not play a factor in your statements. Youre clearly frustrated. The Kings are the furthest thing from a team of rats lmao the main complaint I've seen from Kings fans is that they have no players like that, and aren't physical enough they constantly get out hit, and the only time they play physical like they did in this game is when they play the Oilers because these two teams don't like eachother at all.. I understand being upset and a little salty, but some of your comments on the Kings sound like you've never watched them once outside of when they've played the Oilers, and how the hell is slashing a guys stick out of his hands not a penalty and how tf is that penalty late in the 3rd not a penalty comes on man
If you wanna call the “phantom interference” that you believe lizotte made. Watch it again. Your guy (name too long and complicated” touched the puck BEFORE Lizotte made contact, which means, the contact was fine. Your dude decides to swing the stick at the puck which was in front of lizotte and that’s text book tripping in any form, fell down or not. Even with the broken stick. If Doughty is gonna get a tacky call on McDavid for that hooking, then the tripping makes sense. Not to mention Edmonton should have been in the box like 5 more times the way they play us. The elbow on Iafallo in front of the ref after the whistle was beyond me I can’t believe there was nothing for that. Or the cross check on Edler. I can go on.

Oilers beat themselves. Plain and simple. It's hard to take but, you can't take 6 penalties in a game. Especially with 2 min left. Whether there were Kings noncalls or not the penalties called against the Oilers were mostly warranted and at the worst possible time. They took their foot off the gas with 8 min left and got sloppy and that's on them. 3-1 with 8 min left you lock that down and play disciplined.

Edmonton got the start they wanted but credit to the Kings they hung in there and made their chances count. That was as fair as an NHL playoff game gets.

I'm fine with the penalty on Bouchard with 2 minutes left. Remember, if it's okay for him to do that, it's okay for that to be done to him. He didn't do it on purpose, but it was a penalty IMO.
