Goff made an astute observation on P. Will. He said we've seen him be aggressive when Zach and DeMar aren't on the floor. I had the same thought abt Coby bk in 2020-2021. We've seen Coby be aggressive when Zach wasn't on the floor. I love Zach (man love) but maybe it's time to see what P. Will and Coby can become without Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan on the same floor. If all that's expected from them is to come off the bench in relief of Zach and DeMar they will never face the pressure of winning and losing as core players. We are limiting them to bench cheerleaders who are given spotty inconsistent mins throughout the game.
Alonzo Ball made 60 mil playing only 2 months leaving us exposed at PG also no clutch plays to put teams away, can't out rebound or grab crucial offensive rebounds, VOCH at the 3pt line constantly, coach constantly fakes Drummond out when he is clearly killing down low, switch too much on defense, too much iso plays while teammates just stand still at the 3 and Billy constantly getting out coached and no team toughness which is needed, can't hit crucial 3s, can't guard the 3, and plays down to competition and mostly loses the game
Pat William is guarding 1-5 and spends most of his time on perimeter players. Of course his defensive rebounding suffers. They switch far too much
DeMar is a championship ready player on a good team not Zach I don't care how much he run,if Zach could hit more than 6 for 21 without 5 turnovers the bulls still be playing right now, if Zach could be consistent like DeMar with team possessions THIS TEAM WOULD STILL BE PLAYING RIGHT NOW, I guarantee if Jordan last 3peat team was playing in this era they'd win championships with the same amount of 3s they shot back then,DeMar fg percentage broke wilt chamberlain record better than Jordan fg percentage
Zach shoot 0 for 6 from 3 that's low IQ,the 3rd miss he should've been thinking midrange and paint the rest of the game,the problem is he don't value team possessions like he should and this lead to seeming like low IQ,if Zach was ready this team was ready to go as far as he could keep playing good games.
Everyone on the team worked on their weaknesses except Zach,those was his biggest problems 4 and 5 turnovers games low IQ enough times with team possessions to not be consistent with winning.
I think with a full season of a healthy zach demar p will bev vooch and maybe lonzo

You need a goon down low. That ticky tak play down low is unacceptable. No help down low with a goon doing the offensive and defensive rebounding.

I don't see why they were so surprised about KC thinking DeMar is gone. He has the most worth IMO. He can put up numbers. A playoff team may need him for some extra scoring or a bad team that needs to fill seats. He just doesn't fit with Zach.
I love Demar. Great dude and a hell of a player. I agree fully that he’d be the one to go in order to make the team function the way it needs to. I hope he goes to a contender and gets a chip.
