Sometime going back to simple basics rules the day, where is the Islanders checking game ?…..IMHO they are missing that physical presence in their game. I also thought Anders Lee would develop into that Tim Kerr type block of ice in front of the net, but i was wrong…I misread that one badly!……I agree Gil , your star players need to step up tonight
How about isle score at least three goals including a pp goal? I said late in the season isles sorry pp would cost them in the playoffs at least one game. And the fact pk gave up two goals means car. is already winning the special teams battle and no one fears isle pp one bit. Maybe isles will get shut out three times as pp goes 0-series. Maybe then lou will wake the fk up and see what the real problem is and have four months to contemplate what to do about it instead of thinking his ancient offense can compete against better teams in the playoffs. And that pudding like d and lack of overall hitting doesn't help isles cause either.
