  1. I could go scout a player for one game and write a book on all the things i see in that player so i would expect any scout being paid to do so SHOULD have the ability to properly decipher what type of player they are looking at.Obviously there is a chance the player is playing hurt or who knows maybe hungover or sick there can be some debilitating factors.
Something else I don't do is get overly excited by non impact players to me they are just players that need to not LOSE games.I NEED to see top end talent the kind that can win Stanley Cups and seeing how this team had to start from rock bottom with ZERO legitimate stars they have a LOT of work to do.I don't want to see anymore of these STUPID trades for guys liek Dach or any other 2nd 3rd line player we already have TONS of them we need FIRST line players and no other trade will do.If the Habs want to get PLD to fill out a great second line with Cole and Nick sure go ahead but you need the cap space to build a top line or forget ever winning a cup.

  2. Right now the Habs have the making of some good lines 2-4 some decent defense so they need 3 guys for the first line and some good coaching"systems"still a big task but Bedard would help.

  3. Kent Hughes has led with a level of sophistication and competence that this team has never seen before. This is the era of the GM, there is nothing more important than asset management in todays NHL, and Hughes has put on a masterclass. We are in good hands.

  4. Luke Tuch had a breakthrough year this year. He became a top 6 power forward on his team. He showed that he can contribute on offence, but I feel he has more to give and could use more time in the NCAA. The WC's will be amazing for him. I expect a big leap and really breakthrough, and become a consistently dangerous power forward next year.

  5. Finally the Habs are doing things the right way. Under begevin the Habs were a rudderless ship. In Hughes we trust.

  6. Gorton was with BOS a while ago, since then perennial contenders.
He moved to the Rangers, and they are about to be powerhouses for a while.
We are lucky the Rangers were idiots.
I believe he is the architect.
He knows how a team should be built and who is misused on other teams (Dach, Gurianov).
He also put together the organization… analytics, development.
Hughes, I believe, is more financial. He understands the contracts and how to deal with players & agents. He makes trades beneficial for the Habs and the players they trade away.
I think they are a GREAT pair.

  7. I think the biggest aspect is monumental. Instead of having two teams, one in the NHL and another in the AHL. We are seeing a cohesive organization.
