  1. Aw man. Steve and Leafs fans I'm so sorry. This was just a kick in the teeth to you guys. I know sports doesn't really work like this but, I really think the only way things are really going to change in the organization is if you guys start to hurt them in the wallet. Change teams to give money to for a little while. Hopefully that'll get them to ice a team that will do you proud. (And come cheer for the Rangers in the meantime lol!!!)

  2. Keefe deserves to be fired all because of that game. How are you starting Bunting on the top line when Calle was soo good throughout the season on that line. How do you get the 4th line on the ice before your top line. Why is Holl playing the first minute and a half of the game. Why is Reilly getting defensive zone starts. The entire game when the camera panned to him he was quiet, no trying to rally the troops, no holding players accountable for their mistakes. Show some emotion ffs

  3. Poor Leafs fans. But if the Cubs can win a World Series and my Bengals can make a Super Bowl anything is possible. Even for the Leafs to win a playoff series.

  4. How funny it is thats its more fun to be a Canucks fan that never make the playoffs than being a Leaf fan. I cant believe im saying this but as a Canucks fan i feel for leafs fans, even tho their 2 times the team we are. Weird.

  5. We really, I mean REALLY needed to see more hitting. Finishing very check. You can win in the reg season with great offence and defence. But in the playoffs you need all that plus violence.

Yet there was no consistent team wide violence.

  6. Oh here we go as always….cue the Toronto fans blaming the ref….what makes it even more hilarious this time is Tampa was the team getting screwed by the refs in this game by ye bigger margin I've ever seen. The leafs got away with twice the amount of clear penalties against Tampa not being called. Plus they gave the leafs three power plays that were 100 percent not penalties. How can a city whose sole focus is hockey have absolutely zero hockey knowledge and are constantly whining. You're all pathetic

  7. This game ( and the series) was over at the end of the 1st period. Sorry, there is no recovery from this.

  8. The PHD comment made me spit my coffee. Dangle is bang on yet again, the Leafs always crumble when there are expectations. Matthews being a no-show yet again is more concerning than the result. If he wilted that easily in game one, can't wait to see him in game 2.

  9. I can see Matthews wanting to get out due to the hypercritical social media. Entertaining for us, but I couldn’t imagine the added pressure the uniquely interested Toronto media fan base poses – regardless if he is deemed as underperforming or not. If they don’t win, everything is under the microscope.

  10. Don't blame the Refs. Bunting had no reason to hit cernak. leading to that major. and then your bone headed coach challenging the goal leading to another power play WHEN THEY'RE ALREADY ON THE PENALTY KILL LMAO! Blow leafs Blow! Btw Tampa is one of those teams that does better in the rematch round.

  11. First time watching, could not get past 2 minutes of this pure silliness, it is suppose to be a childish comedy show or a actual Sport show. Can’t watch adults acting like little kids for the camera, Good luck with your show because, a lot of folks like it, just not my cup of tea

  12. I saw no passengers in the Tampa Bay line-up. Tampa's stars were driving the play. Toronto? Well, when it was 1-0, here's what I saw…
I saw the puck go into the corner in the Tampa bay end of the ice, Mitch Marner was skating towards it with a Tampa d-man… as usual, AND I SUGGEST YOU WATCH FOR IT IF YOU DON'T BELIEVEE ME, Mitch Marner finds a way to get "tangled up with the Tampa Bay player on the way to the corner and "trips up", and Marner doesn't make it to the nasty scrum in the corner. Or another "soft play" he does is when he has the puck and the nasty stuff is on it's way to him, he blindly throws it away to avoid getting hit. He "passed" it to nobody twice in the first period alone, once he ended up icing it and the other time he passed it to nobody from the point on the power play – giving it away again. Let's not forget that 3 puck over the ice penalties he has taken in past series by trying to avoid getting hit.

When the player that drives most of your offense decides that an unbruised body is more important that his team's success in the playoffs, good luck on ever winning a round.
The Leafs need to trade Mitch Marner This off season. If Mathews doesn't resign right away this off season, then trade him too.

If the Leafs make it past 5 games this series it will be a miracle – Tampa in 4

  13. Canada will never get the cup back, when will you all understand that .. Bettman made sure of it , 30 years and counting now .

  14. Thank you Steve for YELLING on my behalf. Justified yelling. And the reminder that it CAN be done. It CAN be done. Canada – Russia 1972 , for us old farts proved that , it CAN be done !

  15. 11:50 – Write that down, everyone – chances are he's right. Phil Kessel, Tyler Bozak, Nazem Kadri – all former Leafs, now have rings. Historically, there's Thomas Kaberle who won with Boston in 2011, Dave Andreychuk in 2004 with the Bolts and the oldest I can remember is Lanny Macdonald who won in 1989 with the Flames. Keep an eye on the guys they let-go this off-season and where they end-up 😉

  16. Last night was the most brutal display of TML hockey I've seen in 50 years of watching the team. Last night was rock bottom. "Learn from it"?? 🤣🤣🤣 That's been the mantra since Sittler. It's not about what are you going to learn, but what are you willing to sacrifice. Last night they looked spiritually dead on the bench as if they had no answers. Maybe Marner is finally starting to realize that he isn't entitled to a Stanley Cup just because he's talented and plays with Austin Matthews.

  17. So what you do is watch yourself and realize how ridiculous you sound screaming like a little kid… You can react like an adult would. It won't make this less entertaining. I'll check in on future videos couldn't make it last 2 minutes.

  18. I live in Delaware, east coast USA. I could hear you screaming from Ajax whennthe game is going. Esspecially when Bunting did that thing…..you know the thing

  19. I have to say, one of the big reasons I watch you Steve is because you confirm what I think most times!! Starting those lines were the beginning and end of it. This one is on Sheldon!!

  20. One thing I will say – the Leafs aren’t the only team in this situation. Outside of Boston, basically every team that rode hot into the playoffs got their ass kicked.

Panthers? Sloppy and took too many penalties.
Oilers? Choke in the third period and cry about officiating.
    Devils? Smacked 5-1.
    Knights? Also smacked 5-1.
Leafs? Smacked 7-3 and actually get bad officiating.
Avalanche? Get a reality check, beaten in their own barn.

Honest to god, with the exception of the Canes and Bruins, EVERY top seeded team got taught a lesson. The Leafs can still get back in this. But what they fought for the entire season, home ice advantage – they basically just threw it in the trash. And now here we are, needing at MINIMUM one win in Amalie to keep the season alive, where the Lightning are damn near unbeatable. Good luck boys, this is officially the worst pit you’ve dug for yourselves so far.

  21. Even if the slashing call doesn't Bunting still takes game misconduct a minute later and Tampa still gets 2 more goals

  22. Just a cool idea, but you should have a small sign below the Bower pic that says “It can be done.”

  23. Too bad the Leafs weren't as pumped for the game as all us fans were. Booing their poor performance totally justified. Seeing all those empty seats in the 3rd while I sat comfortably from my lazyboy at home somehow gave me some comfort that I didn't buy those playoff tickets. The Leafs should issue a refund for that game.

  24. I genuinely was so happy the game was done….and then realized it was the end of the second.

  25. Not sure if it helps to hear from a Bruins fan, but in 2018 and 2020 Boston faced Tampa in the second round. Both times, the Bruins dominated them in the first game. Tampa proceeded to dominate Boston in the next four games. My point being, don't fret over the first game. I genuinely thought the Bruins would sweep the Lightning for both of those years based on the first game. Oh, and I would also love to not face Tampa in the second round this year, so for once I'm rooting for Toronto.

  26. "so tired of complaining about officiating, it's a crutch."

    proceeds to complain about officiating

    GOD BLESS LEAFS NATION

  27. What the leafs need now is to replace Sheldon Keefe with Matt Foley, you remember Matt he was that guy who "LIVED IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!!!!"

  28. Matthews and Marner are the two softest hockey players ive ever seen. Absolutely embarrassingly soft regular season players.
