We all know honoring the Cleveland Barons in a throwback/RR would be totally sick and honestly a pretty obvious choice. A buddy of mine in a Discord server came up with this. What do you think?

Pretty sick but I’d make the C red or white for contrast. The Ohio patch too.

Conceptually I just don’t get the jackets doing anything related to the Barons.
They were in cleveland for two years, were an abject failure (didn’t even have real fan support), and were merged with the north stars because it was so bad – so if anything they’re actually a retro option for Dallas (obviously wouldn’t use it but they’re definitively part of a different franchise in a different city, so not even comparable to Houston wanting to do an oilers throwback but Tennessee holding the history).
I’d much rather see the team celebrate the history of the Chill – which played a far more relevant role in bringing the nhl to Columbus (and IMO would create some absolute heat in terms of throwback gear).
Edit – and honestly there are two franchises with better ties to the barons than Columbus, considering the wonkiness that happened with the Sharks and then the barons being revived as the sharks AHL team
