Imagine giving the canes the game, only to have the fans still cry and say you suck and then proceed to call the game in their favor. Blatant too many men missed call, blatant high stick. Fuck this rigged league
So if we’re comparing high sticking calls, does that mean that that instead of popping back up like a fucking hockey player, Mayfield should’ve stayed down and huddled over so the refs blow the play down and agree to call a penalty??
Let me get this straight.
Refs miss a high stick in the first period but the lineman huddles them up 20 seconds later, tells the refs it was a high stick, they review it, and call 4 minutes.
In OT, linesman is 7 feet away from mayfield who gets smacked by a flying stick, and 20 seconds left the game is over.
I’m not usually one of these fans but for the game to end like that feels like an absolute rig job.
Our radio guy: “Nothing can be done about it, you can’t correct a missed call like that.”
