In a smart move by both the player and the team, this gets cleared up before the start of training camp.

  1. I am definitely happy about the deal and agree that it was a good move on Ray Shero's part to get him extended for 6 years but I'm probably not as confident as you are. Based on the devils games you have seen from the previous seasons, what parts of his game specifically did you see that makes you argue that he is currently our best defenseman?

  2. The Devils are finally going to be interesting to watch again. Good for Devils fans!

  3. damon severson aside the canucks will be better then the oilers and leafs in 2-3 years

  4. I see around 28-44 points on Severson. Ray bought out the RFA years too. I feel as a fan that we can reach the 80-85 point mark with the way the young guys with leadership are coming in.

  5. THG is a hockey savage! Love the content, presentation and style. Makes the hockey life more enjoyable. Keep it up. Go Devils!

  6. there are no losers in pro sports, just a bunch of super rich men and women that should thank their lucky stars and the invention of tv and the media. I never even heard of damon severson and his salary is 10 times that of the president of the U.S.A.. ''somethings fucked up here man''.

  7. No brainer for us, Severson was by far our best defenseman last season. I just hope Hynes puts down the line randomizer and gives him a consistent partner this year.

  8. I don't think you know much about Severson at all. He'll be a big part of the future, but he needs to get his shit together, he's was terrible last season and so far this season he been been extremely disappointing yet again. 5th most ice time amongst defensman, lost his PP time to Butcher and Vatanen. He can't kill penalties and is on pace for a whopping 18 points.
