  1. I saw this film in Douglas, IOM in 1972 at the Manx gp. magic.

Sorry to hear of Jack's loss earlier this year

  2. Findlay was the greatest private rider in the world. From Wikipedia:Cyril John Findlay (February 5, 1935 – May 19, 2007) was an Australian former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He is noted for having one of the longest racing careers in Grand Prix history spanning 18 years. He competed at the highest level despite racing as a privateer – that is, not as a contracted member of a factory team – through most of his racing career.

I found him and this video thru the music of Gong. RIP Jack.

  4. Thank you for a great insight to the hard life of the racing back then. I was 16 when i went to i.o.m. In 74 with my late stepfather and saw jack race he was on a big suzuki triple i think! A great rider i am very gratefull that you have posted these films .this brought so much back to me of my late stepfather it made me cry i still love my classic racing
