Defense was fucking horrible tonight. We created no pressure and got caved in at almost every metric. Got murdered on special teams again. And most disturbingly, made horrific lineup decisions. Smith and Wood werent the only bad players tonight, but they stunk it up in their own way. Predictable stupid penalties that got us in a hole. No excuse they should be playing game 3.
History says we have around a 15% chance. Which is more than we deserve given our play. Everyone needs to step it the fuck up and Lindy needs to stop being brutally outcoached. See you miserable fucks on Saturday.

Theyre choking and getting outcoached, the franchise has been in rebuild mode for years. This is as far as Lindy can take us. We need a playoff staff behind Brunette moving forward.
For now, hang tough Devils fans this is playoff pain, it’ll be a distant memory soon. Going thru bad playoff series during the Lou era happened plenty and some of the worst are hardly mentioned anymore.
Tampa got swept by Columbus, hardly even seems like anything more then a meme now.
