The Dallas Stars (33-16-13) went and had themselves an excellent Thursday. For starters, they took down the Chicago Blackhawks on night two of a back-to-back. This game not only gave the team two points, but it gave us a Roope Hintz hat-trick as well as a Matt Murray win as goalie in his NHL debut. Shortly after the win, the Stars made a trade with the Blackhawks to acquire forward Max Domi. Today we discuss the win, the trade and why Stars fans should be ecstatic!

The Dallas Stars made the Max Domi trade official two minutes after I stopped recording. We now know that the 2nd round pick they gave up is from the 2025 draft. Let mw know YOUR thoughts on the trade here in the comments!

Max Domi is 28 yrs old he’s been traded 5 times lol. Wtf how come no one wants to keep this yr he is a good player he’s not going to stay with Dallas either as he’s a free agent he will sign with another team at the age of 28 6 teams wtf? Lol 😂😂😂

What I really like about this trade is that Dallas didn’t give up any forwards. A couple guys may go back down to Texas, but that’s to be expected. I think having that looming feeling of being on the chopping block can really hurt a team.
The Guri subplot has been going on for quite some time, the guys could expect it to happen, and I’m sure it was still tough.
Hopefully they handle Dobi like they did Bishop. The trade was a part of the business but they still treated him well, and gave him a good sendoff.
