  1. I agree. Aho could be the MVP of the series. His defensive numbers are really good and him and Mayfield together are one of the top pairings in the league stats-wise. Plus he has excellent and creative offensive talent on the blueline. Wish Lambert would use him on PP1

  2. The Canes won that series 5 years ago because the Isles got 2 disallowed goals. I don't like Anderson and Raanta isn't built for the playoffs. The Svechnikov problem will be a huge issue for the Hurricanes. My x-factor is Engvall, if he can keep his transition game going the Isles will have two top lines that can skate into the offensive zone, which in turn will generate a lot of positive possession for the Islanders. Isles have a good shot in the series; it should go 6 or 7. Injuries will play a role in it, though.
