Most cup contenders start with 2 top pairing D – men. Just hope this works. Is Holl or Gio in Leafs top pairing? Go Leafs go! If Matthews & Marner are happy then GM Dubas is likely ok.

We also got Josh Pillar point a game player in the Whl.
Getting two players who will help all the over the ice, and not losing anyone from the roster, is so good for the Leafs. They'll pick up points since they have better scoring mates now, but I think that is a bonus. O'Reilly with his ability to harass the opponents and his experience in the playoffs, and as a former C, will be crucial at times when the offense isn't clicking. I didn't realize Acciari is 10th in the league in hits!? Talk about filling a need. I think special teams will be improved and the Leafs should be more successful in OT games.
So, I think it's a huge win for the Leafs and a smart move by Campbell and the Blues — good year to have a lot of draft picks/options. I'm hoping the Leafs aren't quite done yet. What about a guy like Domi? I wouldn't think it would cost much and even if just as a rental? And I'd still like to see another D added.
