Boston Bruins must make statement in Game 3 vs. Florida Panthers

The Boston Bruins head to Florida for Game 3 against the Panthers with their first-round series tied at 1.

It’s likely that Patrice Bergeron will miss Game 3, but the other core members need to make a statement that they were the best team in the regular season for a reason.

Ian McLaren goes as far as to suggest the Bruins need to be more like … the Toronto Maple Leafs?

Plus, two lineuo changes that should be made, more on Bergeron’s absence, and a mailbag question on whether to switch up the apparel for Game 3.

  1. lets go!!!!!!! wonder why Steen was called up, even if bergy can't go, i would have Greer in for foligno, still need that sand paper with little speed

  2. Rangers are the team to beat in the playoffs. They are peaking at the right time. Just as Boston dominated in the regular season, Rangers will dominate in the playoffs.

  3. Bruins are seeing how different the playoffs are. Totally different animal. Bruins are already looking for answers. They are very fortunate to be 1-1. They've been out played these two games. While the Rangers are making the Devil's look like an AHL or minor league team

  4. I picked the Rangers to beat the Bruins in the Eastern conference finals but at home the Bruins don't look too impressive. I don't think they'll make it to the ECF

  5. Agreed that Lauko needs to be in but after the showing by Krecji, I'd move Zacha back down between Pasta and Bert and move Krecji up with Marchy and Debrusk. They've played together in past years while Zacha has not so much. Grizzy has to go back in and Orlov needs to be on his strong side. Surely, the illness contributed to the listlessness and obvious lack of energy but they have to do better.
