  1. Honest question, what's the likelihood of an NHL winger successfully converting to center?
I feel that it may be the best way to use Brock, given the circumstances

  2. I hear the same thing in 2020, 2021 and 2022 already, time to give him up after year after year ?

  3. But now his trade value has gone up. They need to move somebody they still need to improve the team and are over the cap. They can't go into next season with the same team. Hopefully they sign Gavrikov and Barbashev and that means trading Boeser and getting rid of Myers.

  4. I have always been a fan of Brock. He seems like such a decent human

Having lost my father a couple years ago after lengthy health problems i can relate to how much stress and emotions go through a person.
When i first heard about his dad passing away, i was a bit shocked that he was back and playing so soon. And i was certainly not surprised it affected his gameplay

He is one of those players that i will be a fan of no matter where he plays, but i 100% want a guy like him on the Canucks

  5. Great report Lego. Boeser will be better next season especially have this time to truly deal with his grief, not alone but together with his Family.

  6. If we keep him I hope he explodes next season. There still is potential. I thought he had a better shot than Bo and it disappeared.

  7. They shouldn't trade Boeser if they practically have to give him away or retain salary. They should wait for his trade value to increase. If they have to wait until the trade deadline before he becomes a UFA then so be it.

  8. I’m sorry but Brock is not a great player, and I’ve always thought he was overrated. Just low hockey IQ and little hustle.

  9. One of the worst contracts on the Canucks. Sure he wants to stay, not like they play stressful games. He makes more $ than every player on Seattle

  10. I hope he comes back .hes got the fire in the belly .im almost positive if hes gone .we will regret it. He just lost his dad .give him some time to recover

  11. I can completely understand what Brock Boesser's gone though and is going through. I didn't know he was dealing with all this and it makes me respect him even more, not just as a hockey player, but as a human being. I've been through it myself and know you don't know until you know. My own dad went through an 11 year long struggle with ailing health and finally passed in the spring of 2021. It was hard, to go through the struggles with him and to know he would ultimately succumb sooner or later, yet it always seemed later rather then sooner, as he would have another complication and then pull through. Until one day he couldn't. When he passed, we kind of expected it, but not just then.

My heart and prayers go out to you Brock and family for what you've been through.

  12. Brock is great human being, but we have to come to terms with the fact that we have already seen his ceiling. He's not very strong defensively and his skating skills are mediocre at best. He's incredibly slow on the ice.
